Alliance Française is proud to be hosting the 20th edition of the annual European Film Festival this year.
It is the longest running Festival in the country and mini-versions take place at the Alliance Française in Mombasa and Kisumu and for the first time this year, audiences in Eldoret will get a chance to enjoy European films. Organized under the auspices of the Delegation of the European Union, the 2011 edition will feature recent films from 15 European countries: Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Netherlands, Poland, Serbia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and Turkey.
The European Film Festival continues to be a popular event showing rich, diverse and refreshing content from Europe reflecting a multi-cultural 21st century Europe yet preserving historical depth and distinctive characteristics.
