Kenya Westgate's attack: New pieces of evidence - BBC

"The BBC has established from senior security sources that -- in the weeks leading up to the attack on the Westgate shopping mall in the Kenyan capital Nairobi -- militants rented a shop in the building. This gave the members of the Somali Islamist group Al Shabaab access to service lifts enabling them to stockpile weapons and ammunition. Security sources told the BBC how the militants changed tack late on Saturday, switching to heavy calibre machine guns as the military took over control of the rescue effort from the police. Sixty-seven people are known to have died in the attack. The Kenyan Red Cross says sixty-one others are still missing".
